Planting Tips: When planting Australian natives they don’t require too much work to get them settled. Fertilizer Australian native plants in the prime growing seasons, Spring and early Autumn for the best results. However, make sure to use the right food. Almost all natives dislike soils and food with high phosphorus levels, therefore when fertilizing these plants make sure to use a fertilizer made especially for them with a phosphorus (P) level of 3% or less. If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container that is too small. Make sure to use a premium quality Australian Native Potting Mix as this has the correct balance of wetting agents and nutrients required for having a healthy plant.
